In this photo, it's hard to see the beautiful natural stone countertop we installed with two undermount sinks. That's not marble on the backsplash, though. It's capiz shell tile: very pearlescent and lovely. This was a contractor's spec house and while we didn't agree with the too-small sink under the window, we loved the dramatic height of the kitchen, the moulding details and the subtle palette.
