"There is no tile heaven..."

It is very difficult to find a tile manufacturer that can repeatedly and reliably produce tile under tight specifications from one lot to the next, much less from one year to the next.  These are hand made tiles that have been in place for two decades, possibly.  Yup.  Twenty years old and hand made.  But there's a guy who works at Kitchen & Bath Specialists who doesn't like to give up.  I think he may have visited 20 tile yards in south Florida until he found something close.  Then he modified it, distressed it, tinted it and turned it over to the tile installer.  It's a beautiful installation and I bet the homeowners have no idea what went into it.
